Rock of Eye is a bespoke tailoring term, dating back to the late 18th century. It literally means “to be guided by the eye” - to do by feel and intuition.
This skill is earned only by years of experience. Yes, we still use tape measuring to take exact scientific measurements. No matter which of our highly trained employees you work with at Leviner Wood, Larry Wood - the founder of Leviner Wood and the John Cooper Collection - will oversee each and every pattern and design.
Rock of eye cannot be achieved with a scanner, camera, computer, nor algorithm. Don’t settle for counterfeit custom. As relevant today as we have been in each of the past 30 years.

As the Gallery Director, Coop’s talents are used to design, develop, and curate new and exciting clothing for Leviner Wood.
His creative chops developed over the years with a foundation in music, so the gallery is filled with items that, like great music, appeal directly to your emotions.
The story behind each item, the fabrics, the quality of construction- the whole experience of wearing custom made clothing from the John Cooper Collection- is pure feeling. Feel the rhythm.
