Seersucker has gotten a bad rep. It’s come to be shorthand for “old.” That’s too bad, because seersucker was invented in India to handle hot weather. The puckering keeps most of the material away from you to let the air circulate. It’s made from lightweight cotton, itself a breathable fabric. So what’s not to love?
Here, we’ll make it easier for you. How about seersucker in black on black tones? Or in a gingham check? Or even a blue pinstripe like the one above.
